B L A Power Private limited (“BLAPPL/the Owner/Purchaser”) having corporate office
at Mumbai, INDIA invites sealed bids under the International Competitive
Bidding (ICB) procedure for ENGINEERING, PROCUREMENT AND CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT (“EPC CONTRACT”) FOR 1 X
70 MWe (max. 80MWe) GRID CONNECTED THERMAL POWER PLANT
located at Village Newari, Tehsil Gadarwara, District Narsinghpur, Madhya
Pradesh, India. |

SCOPE OF WORK: |
||
The scope shall include but not limited to all necessary works for the design,
engineering, supply, construction, erection, installation, pre-commissioning,
testing and commissioning, successful completion of trial operation and performance tests, coordination
management of 1x70MWe (max. 80MWe) Unit as single source responsibility on
turnkey basis. The scope also includes design, manufacture, procurement, testing at manufacturer’s
works, packing and forwarding for supply on CIF Indian port (Imported Component)
/ Ex-works (Domestic Component) basis and port handling and clearance; reconciliation with
customs authorities for the imported goods; further loading and inland
transportation for delivery at
site; providing project site related services. |

EPC Contract will be awarded through the International Competitive Bidding
Procedure. In terms of paragraph 8.2(g) of the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-2009
of Government of India, the contractor is qualified for “Deemed Exports” benefits. |
||
A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by any
interested prospective bidder upon payment of a non-refundable fee in the form
of a Cash / Demand Draft / Cashier’s cheque / Certified cheque payable at Mumbai, India in favour
of BLA Power Private limited. |
